Dorothy I. Dicus Rawley, 54, of Spencer, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. She was born on March 29, 1957 in Bloomington to Chester R. and Naomi (Maners) Dean. Dorothy was a 1975 graduate of Owen Valley High School. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was a wonderful cake baker, loved animals and enjoyed nature.
She is survived by her daughter, Davawn Calvert (Travis) Creech of Poland; her mother, Naomi Dean of Spencer; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Abigail, Abrianna and Emma Creech.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Scott and Edith (Noel) Dean; Robert Maners; and Nora (McFarland) Killian.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2011 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Pastor David Warren will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until service time on Friday.
