24th Delaware Governor. He became Delaware's Governor after being sworn into the office upon the death of Governor John Collins, and served from April 23, 1822 to January 21, 1823. His brother, Daniel Rodney, also served as Delaware's 20th Governor and his distant cousin, Caesar Rodney, served as Delaware's 4th Governor.
