Katherine was the 2nd child of 8 children born to Henry Theodore Titus,(1822-1882), founder of Titusville, Brevard County, Florida and Mary Evelina Hopkins (1832-1911). She married Walter Fox of Ohio in Titusville, Florida in 1880.They lived with her parents at the Titus House/Indian River Hotel, which had become the community center for the fledging settlement of Titusville. Katherine died in child/birth in 1883 giving birth to twins, Titus and McComb, who both died along with their mother. She was laid to rest with her children beside her .
