Pauline Kelly Farrer

1931 ~ 2011

Pauline Kelly Farrer passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 18, 2011 in her longtime home in Provo, Utah.

Pauline was born on June 24, 1931 in Springville, Utah to her loving parents Paul Jones Kelly and Mary Irinda Spafford Kelly.

She grew up in Springville with her brothers and sisters, Orville Lowe (Myrtle), Marie Barrett (Tom) both deceased, Jay Lowe (Shirlene) both deceased, George Kelly (Jan), Joan Wagoner (Alan) both deceased.

She married her lifelong sweetheart Don S. Farrer on January 11, 1952, and they were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. She gave birth to three very loved children, Kelly (Karin), Mary Lynn Miller (Bob), and Kathleen Schroemges (Jean-Paul), who are greatly blessed to have her as their mother.

After graduating from Springville High School, she worked at Geneva Steel until Don returned from military service.

She enjoyed being a stay-at-home-mom for many years and then went to work for the Provo School District in the lunch program.

Pauline enjoyed working not only with her own children, but the school children and as a Primary teacher in the LDS Church.

She is survived by her husband, three children, eleven grandchildren, nine and a half great-grandchildren, and two brothers.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many friends at Sunbrook Hospice for their loving care given to Pauline and the family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Slate Canyon 6th Ward Chapel, 1315 East 900 South, Provo.
