Omaha, Neb. - Peter Joseph Billinger, 74, Omaha, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1928, in St. Peters, Kansas, to Michael and Barbara (Richmier) Billinger.

Mr. Billinger was a truck driver and security guard in Omaha.

He also was a veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Billinger was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Omaha.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ablena Maria, at home; two sons, the Rev. James J. Billinger, Wichita, Kan., and Robert L. Billinger, Papillion, Neb.; three daughters, Kathleen A. Wilder and Jacqueline M. Heinzman, both of Omaha, and Susan C. Kalina, Elkhorn, Neb.; a sister, Caroline Wittman, Topeka; and 11 grandchildren.

Services were Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Omaha. Burial with military honors conducted by Benson Post No. 2503 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars was in Resurrection Cemetery in Omaha.
