Mrs. Emeline Hatch
Mrs. Emeline Hatch, who had been in failing health for the past year, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julia Creighton, Tuesday morning, August 7. Mrs. Hatch was born in the town of Hebron, but spent the greater part of her life in this vicinity. She was eighty six years of age.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Julia Creighton, Mrs. Mary Rouse and Mrs. Emma Flower, all of Salem.
The funeral service was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence on South Main street. Rev. A. T. Hemphill, pastor of the United Presbyterian church officiated. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
