Fredrick Sykes a resident of East Jax, FL., died August 19, 2011. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Bishop R.W. Mckissick, Jr, Pastor. Survivors include: wife, Myrtice N. Sykes; 7 children; 2 stepdaughters; 3 sisters; a host of grands and great grands; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at his church. Mr. Sykes will rest at the mortuary for visitation of friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and in the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
