Freda Maye Beckett, of Huntington, WV, widow of Arthur Garfield Beckett, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born February 6, 1917, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late William R. and Mary Lou Sias Lucas.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
She was a member of Baptist Temple Church and a fifty year member of Guyandotte Chapter #89 O.E.S.
Survivors include
one son and daughter-in-law, Barry A. and Kimberly R. Beckett of Huntington;
a very special niece, Judith Russell, her husband Charles;
a great niece, Kara Eplin;
very special friends, Katherine Watson and Brian Coleman;
very special caregivers, Tina, Jennifer, Lee Ann and Jamie.
Funeral service at White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, with Pastor Ben Coleman officiating. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
