Los Angeles Times - June 5, 1910:

VETERAN TAKEN SUDDENLY

SANTA MONICA, June 4. - Death came suddenly to Frank J. Twing (sic), aged 65, last night at No. 714 Oregon avenue. He was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic and of the Loyal Legion. He leaves a widow and a daughter, Mrs. H. Harris, whose home is in this city, and two sons, F. F. of Los Angeles, and E. W. of Kettle Falls, Wash. The funeral, which is to be private, will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning. The interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles.
