Actor, Producer. Appeared as a stage actor throughout the 1920s, entering in the motion picture business in 1929 and appeared in about 35 films. His last film appearance was 1939. He was a talent scout first for Warner Brothers until 1938, then with the Sam Jaffe Agency before going with 20th Century-Fox as an associate producer. In 1945, he was promoted to producer and produced the film, 'Somewhere In The Night' with John Hodiak and Nancy Guild. He was transferred to the New Your office in late 1946 and remained there until the late 1940s. During the 1950s, he produced a number of plays, including 'Oh Men, Oh Women", which was later made a movie by 20th Century-Fox. He was thr Godfather of Susan Strasberg.
