US Congressman. He was elected a Federalist to represent New York's 15th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, filling the vacancy caused by the death of Congressman-elect William Dowse. He served from May 26 to December 20, 1813, and was succeeded by Congressman Isaac William Jr., who had successfully contested the election.
