In 1861 she married George Haight, but their marriage seems to have been ended by the Civil War. George served from 1862-1865, and in the 1870 census, Betsy is living alone with her son, Samuel Spencer, and she has resumed the surname Spencer.
She is probably not the Betsy Willis who married John Pearsall after Levi Spencer's death. Probably it was A.H.Willis's widowed mother, Betsy Willis, who married John Pearsall and is buried in the lot owned by A.H. Willis. Owner: Willis, A. H.; Sec.3 Lot 56 (1-3&7-9); burial: Pearsall, Betsy E.; section: 3, Lot: 56, grave:3.
Neither of them should be confused with Betsey E Willis, wife of George Willis, also buried in the Willis plot at Tully Cemetery.
