`Mrs. H. H. Schollenberger, 258 North Clifton Avenue. Mrs. Schollenberger, (Miss Maude Elizabeth Gowen), has for the past ten years been Treasurer and Financial Secretary of the Wichita Hospital Board. She is Financial Chairman of the Y. W. C. A. Board, a member of the Twentieth Century Club, is prominently identified with the work of the Central Christian Church and has a great interest in philanthropic work. Report of death yesterday in Wesley Hospital of Mrs. Maude Gowen Schollenberger, founder of the Wichita Art Association, at age 82. Born February 8, 1880, in Nevada, Missouri. Her husband, Harvey H. Schollenberger, died in 1920. Survived by two grandchildren. Wichita Eagle, May 10, 1962, page 5A.
