AVERY WHITEMORE LOVELL, 83, of Melbourne, FL died at William Childs Hospice House. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and owned A.W. Lovell, Inc in Duxbury for over 30 years, retiring in 1986 and moving to Melbourne. He was predeceased by his step-father and mother, Howard and Grace Lewis Putnam. Surviving are his companion, Elaine Shepherd; children, Brian (Debbie) of La Habra, CA, Timothy (Janet) of Plymouth, MA and Steve of Plymouth, MA; grandchildren, Josh and Emma Lovell, Jeremy Lovell and Amanda (Troy) Wahl and Travis Lovell; great-grandson, Jaydon Wahl; siblings, Stuart, Ronald and Cynthia (Al) Ayotte.
