She was the former Dorothy J. Leffler, a native of Elizabeth, retired from the H.A. Seinsheimers Company after 30 years of service and was a member of Grant Line United Methodist Church where she was active in several activities.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Rev. Wilma Bone and her husband, Duane; a stepson, William Sawyer and his wife, Carol; two brothers, Irvin Leffler and his wife, Ruth, and Wayne Leffler and his wife, Juanita; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a niece, Lisa Leffler Anderson and her husband, Eddie; a nephew, Dana Leffler and his wife, Kim; great niece, Kayla Schaeffer and her husband, Seth; and great nephews, Lance Leffler and his wife, Nacole, and Levi Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Loyd J. Sawyer, her parents, Clifton and Ruby Leffler, and her brother, Raymond L. Leffler.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, at the church.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Grant Line United Methodist Church, New Albany.
