Ima Marie (Cunningham) Morgan, age 93, passed away on January 9, 2020 in Italy, Texas. She was born on April 6, 1926 in Montevallo, Alabama to her parents , J.K., and Mary(Bridges) Cunningham. Irma began her career as nurse, working for a local doctor in Montevallo. She relocated to Dallas to work for Texas Instruments, where she met the love of her life Howard Lee Morgan. They were happily married for 61 years until his death on January 5, 2018. In 1967, they moved to Italy, Texas where they opened Happy House Day Care that she ran for several years until opening a resale shop called, Triple Treasures in Italy. She was an entrepreneur who enjoyed trying different job endeavors. She was a long-time member of the Central Baptist Church in Italy, Texas. Irma enjoyed her frequent visits to Camp Stewart in the Hill Country. She loved playing board games and cards with her grandchildren or anyone that would stop by. Irma was a woman with a sweet tooth who loved baking. Irma loved her family very much and enjoyed being with them. She will be missed and forever remembered.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents, husband and six siblings, Doris, LeNora(Tiny), Elizabeth, John, Bill and Junior.

The family would like to thank the Trinity Nursing Home in Italy for the loving care they gave to our mom.

She is survived by her children, Rusty Lee Morgan and wife Donna and George Morgan; grandchildren, Lacy Brown, Kelly Webb, Mark Morgan, Greg Morgan, Matt Beddoe and Misty Warren; great-grandchildren, Easton Brown, Kaityn Brown, Morgan Brown, Ryleigh Webb and Braden Webb.
