Lillian Lockwood was traveling with her mother, Florence and brother Clifford as second class passengers on board the Lusitania.

Her father, Dick, remained in New Jersey.

Lillian, her mother and brother were all lost in the disaster. Lillian's body was identified and buried in Common Grave B.

Her maternal uncle filed a docket against the United States in favor of his brother-in-law, Dick Lockwood, who had yet to become a naturalized American citizen.

Due to the claimant being the uncle and not the father, all monetary compensation was denied.
