Ray Erwin Prusso, 90, Battle Ground, Washington, passed away on September 16, 2011. He was born in San Leandro, California to Everett and Van Nessa Prusso and graduated from Louisville High School in 1939.
Ray served for four years in the Marines during World War II.
He worked as a building contractor for 40 years.
Ray enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading and crossword puzzles. He devoted his whole life to serving his family and friends.
Ray is survived his brother, Don Prusso of Fernley, Nevada; children, Donna Larson of Mt. Shasta, California, Scott (Katrina) Prusso of San Anselmo, California, William (Laura) Prusso of Sandy, Utah, Cindy Prusso of Lakewood, Washington, Ricki (James) Troutman of Battle Ground, Washington, and Jeff Prusso of Portland, Oregon; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Sandy; and son, Dennis Prusso.
Burial was at Willamette National Cemetery, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 for immediate family only. A memorial service was held later at the LDS Vancouver North Stake, 11101 NE 119th St., Vancouver, WA.
