Bertha E. Betts, 94, of Connellsville, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Pleasant Valley Personal Care Home. She was born Feb. 8, 1910, in Hancock, Md., a daughter of the late Jacob Calvin and Sarah Ellen McKee Schetromph. Bertha was a loving home maker for many years and was protestant by faith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Regina Basinger and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, Howard Betts; five brothers, Guy, Arlie, Jacob, Leroy and Ira Schetromph; and four sisters, Lula Grace Morton, Elsie Shircliff, Anna Maye Cole and Hazel Mellott. Visitation will be held in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of the funeral service with the Rev. Barry Witt officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville
