Photojournalist. He worked as a journalist for The Associated Press, “Time Magazine”, United Press International, and CBS, and is mainly remembered for covering the Vietnam War and his pictures from that war, which gained national attention. On April 6, 1970, he disappeared without a trace along with colleague Sean Flynn, while covering the widening of combat to the Cambodia border. It is believed that the two men were killed either by the Khmer Rouge or the Viet Cong.
