Father: George B. Lingenfelter, b. July, 1854 in MO, m. Sarah Caroline Larimore 19 Dec. 1878 in Paradise, Clay Co., MO. George's parents were Norris (b. 1818, KY) and Elizabeth (b. 1826, KY).

George is listed on the 1910 U.S. Census with the family in Cornelius, Oregon. Shortly thereafter, he and Sarah divorced. No further information is known about him.

Anna married Asmus Friedrich Tonningsen 2 July 1907 in Boise, Ada Co., Idaho.

In 1920, Anna was living in Cassia Co., Idaho. The census lists her as married, but Asmus is not listed.

Anna and Asmus Tonningsen took a cruise to Honolulu, Hawaii, departing San Francisco on May 25, 1939 on the S.S. Lurline, arriving in Honolulu on May 31, 1939. He was 76 yrs and Anna was 59 yrs.


At some point in her life, she was a school teacher. After her husband died in 1941, she moved to Boulder City, Nevada where her brother Charles & his wife resided. She taught school in that area.
