Elton was known as Sonny.
"DBL E" was Elton's railroad name and he passionately loved those big engines. He worked as a locomotive engineer for the Cotton Belt Railroad for over 30 years.
Elton was a lifelong member of First Assembly of
Predeceased by wife, Esther, and infant daughter, Esther Renee Stephenson.
Graveside services were held Sept. 20, at Tyler Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or the charity of your choice.
