Floyd T. Weaver, 84, a life-long resident of Tunnelton, died Sunday, March 23, in Preston Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1884, at Evansville, a son of the late Thornton and Lydia Deck Weaver.
Survivors include his widow, Abbie Stevenson Weaver; six daughters, Mrs. Charles (Alberta) Moore of Wintersville, Ohio, Mrs. George (Opal) Moore of Carrollton, Ohio, Mrs. Dave (Katherine) Johnson of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Raymond (Ruby) Williams of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Herbert (Lucille) Young of Chicago, Mrs. Howard (Norma) Satterfield of Fairmont; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
One son, three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Weaver was a member of the Tunnelton Methodist Church.
Services were held in the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood.
Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.
