Palmer C Bierly, 85, a resident of the Centre Crest Nursing Home of Bellefonte, formerly of Rebersburg died on Monday. He was a graduate of the Mill Hall High School, he graduated from the Williamsport Business College in 1926.
He was the U.S. postmaster in Rebersburg for 38 years. He was owner & operator of Bierly's Office Equipment for 45 years. He was co-owner of Bierly's Motor Company & Bierly's Bus Company.
He was a Democratic Committeeman in Miles township. He was a lifelong Democrat.
He was born in Rebersburg a son of Willis & Lottie (Weber) Bierly. On July 19 1942 he married Kathleen Burd who survives in Rebersburg.
He is survived by 3 sons Darryl Bierly of Stowe Ohio, Roger A Bierly of Rebersburg & Keith Bierly of Centre Hall.
