He is survived by his wife, Peggi; beloved daughter, Stephanie N. Marshall; sons, Arzo Keith Thomison, and Jason A. Skal; grandson, Joey Marshall; sisters, Emma Jean Rockwell, Julia Faye Randolph, and Dorothy (Pete) Harvey of Columbia, Maryland; brothers, Ray Paul (Earline) Thomison of Columbus, OH, Samuel Lee Thomison of New York, and Leroy Thomison of Baltimore, Maryland. He is also survived by his in-laws, Patty (Ralph) Vincent, Mary (Frank) Blevins, Fred (Tina) McCown, Jo Thomison, Jackie (Jon) Rinehart; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. JR loved life, dancing, music, working with his hands and being with his grandson.
JR was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who were blessed to have the opportunity to experience his genuine smile and laughter; his smile, laugh, and gentleness will never be forgotten. Our thanks to everyone in the families for pulling together in our hours of need, especially to Scott Gilmore for his unselfish time and care in these last few years, we couldn't have done it without you.
Friends called at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where Service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Rob Watts, of Columbus West Church of God, officiated. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
