Always a hard worker, "Mama Pat" held a job until cancer forced her to resign at age 76. She was such a funny lady, a pleasure to be around. She loved to GO.

Gutsy, she didn't learn to drive until the age of 60 when her husband, Alfred Cyrus, died.

Mama Pat was born 5/18/1904 in Hornhill (Limestone County), TX to Johnny Hammond & Aurora Etna Turner Elam Hammond.

She married Rev. Alfred Cyrus Healer on November 14, 1920.

She was a good mother to
* Francis Edward Healer (1922-1994),
* Laura Naomi Healer Koch (1923-1999),
* Carl Thurston Healer (1925-2000)
* LaJuana Jean Healer Henthorne (1929-2014).

We miss you, Mama Pat!
