Mrs. George Coonrod, aged fifty-four years, died at 11:55 o'clock, Monday night, at her home on north Main street, after an extended illness of cancer of the stomach.
Mrs. Coonrod was born and raised in the county, and was quite well known. She was the daughter of Mr. Jacob Miller, a well known farmer of Grand Prarie Township, and was married to Mr. Coonrod April 10, 1873.
At the deceased's request the funeral service was held at Epworth M.E. church, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by interment in the Marion cemetery.
