Carrie was a true angel on earth. Born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, Carrie's physical abilities were limited. Her health problems were many, but through it all, she was a winner and her strength made fools of many a medical professional.

She is the daughter of Debbie and Dennis Garner, and has an older brother, Jeff, and older sister, Nikki.

I had the privilege of being one of her aides, but she did more for me than I ever did for her. That little girl is one of Heavenly Father's most precious children and what a great blessing it was just to be in her presence.

She had the most radiant smile and her spirit filled every room she entered. She had an innate ability to never tire of her Kidsongs and Lambchop videos.

Although she had limited vocalization, she loved to sing. She loved it when someone would sing B-I-N-G-O with her, letting her do the "O."

Care-Bear, I love and miss you so very much. I know nothing is holding you back now. Not that anything ever did. Thanks for letting me share a part of your life and be your friend. I am so blessed to know that I once held an angel in my arms and that angel was Carrie Ann Garner.
