Bio written by David's friend: I knew David in Odessa, Texas. We worked together at Texas Rehabilitation Commission. David was a Psychologist and I was a V. R. Counselor. David was originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico. He had gotten his Master's in Psychology at ENMU in Portales. As I remember David had been a fullback on Carlsbad High School's State Championship Team. David and his wife had one child while living in Odessa. It was around this time around 1976 or so that David was diagnosed with M.S. He began to have spells where he would lose his balance and was often having double vision. He eventually transferred to Austin, where he went to work in the Disability Determination Division, a job that did not require that he travel or have contact with clients. I left TRC in 1981 and lost contact with him. I found out this evening that he had passed which I suspected. I did not know that he had another child nor that he and his first wife had divorced.
