Organized Crime Figure. A member of the "Good Killers Society", he was perhaps the most dangerous hitman for the Detroit mobs during the 1910s. He was tried and acquitted for the murder of Detroit Police detective Emmanuel Roggers, and eventually shot to the forefront of the Giannola-Vitale war by helping to betray his boss Tony Giannola. After repeated attempts on his life, he made an offer to Sam Catalanotte and Joe Zerilli to kill his boss John Vitale, which he did. But his newfound allies did not trust him, and Andrea Licato was shot to death three weeks later at Clinton and Joseph Campau streets. It was duly noted that not one person showed up at his funeral three days later, as Licato was one of the most feared and hated gangsters in Detroit at the time. His grave is only twenty yards away from that of his old boss, John Vitale, whom he killed.
