Bob passed away at his home under care of Hands of Hope Hospice. He was the son of Lawrence and Emily Leonard, graduated from East High School in 1945, and married his high school sweetheart, Ronna Lowther, in 1946. In 1949, the couple moved to Idaho Falls, where he worked as a salesman for Lang Company for 10 years. Bob opened Leonard Petroleum Equipment of Idaho Falls in 1959, adding a store in Twin Falls in 1975 and a store in Boise in 1993. He was an avid golfer, fly fisherman, and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He served as Exalted Ruler of Idaho Falls Elks Club in 1968 and had been a director of Idaho Falls Country Club. Survivors beside Ronna included: sons Craig Leonard of Idaho Falls and Steven Leonard of Twin Falls; daughter Stacy Leonard Browning of Idaho Falls; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Celebration of Life held January 10 at Sandpiper Restaurant, 750 Lindsay Boulevard.
