MULLINS - Mrs. Elmore Gasque, the former Sara Ellen Atkinson, 80 years old, died early today after an extended illness at the home of a son near Mullins.
Funeral services will be held at the Cox Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, with burial in the McMillan Cemetery. The Rev. C. E. Hill will officiate.
She was a native of Marion County, daughter of the late Jesse A. and Rebecca Gasque Atkinson.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. R. V. Proctor of Hamer and Mrs. Laneau Turner of Mullins; one son, Vic Gasque of Mullins; and 3 grandchildren.
