Mahala came west with her husband and her sister's family the Haga/Dixons around 1890s.

Mahala and her husband were buried in Bear Creek and then moved to Bandon's Pioneer Averill Ceme.

It seems the cemetery was vandalized after they were moved and the stone was destroyed
The Local Historical society advised us of the move of graves.
