Acclaimed Film Editor and Director. His career spanned the 1920s thru 1970s. Nominated for a 'Best Editing' Acadamy Award for 1937's landmark drama "The Good Earth." Among his other notable editing credits are "Ben-Hur" (1925), "Freaks" (1932), "Love Happy" (1950), and "No Man Is an Island" (1952), to name a few. His directing credits include "Passing Parade" (1938), "Trifles of Importance" (1940), and "South Seas Adventure" (1958), among several others.
