LOVE, JESSIE SNODDERLY - age 103, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Vester Love; her parents, Hannah and George Snodderly; sisters, Mamie Humphrey; Grace Wilson, Maxie Love; brothers, K.R. and Xagus Snodderly; grandson-in-law, John Toney. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Betty J. and Joe Hurst; son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Ida Jane Love; sisters-in-law, Teneva French and Pearl Snodderly; grandchildren, Vicki E. Elkins of Tacoma, Washington, Tina J. Elkins, and April M. Love; Angela (Stan) Sherrod, Rick (Barbara) Burnette, Karla (Gary) P'simer, Tony Hurst, Danny (Robin) Hurst; special niece, Verleen (Donnie) Miller; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Humphrey, Pete Humphrey, Gail Murphy; Bunny Kay Snodderly; all of Knoxville. A funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary Chapel with Dr. David Lord officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and entombment.
