Canadian politician. A native of Chambly (Québec), he studied at the college of Chambly and worked later as a farmer in Saint-Hubert. He was involved also in the task of arbitrating the expropriations for the construction of railroads. He worked as an estimator for the "Crédit foncier franco-canadien". In 1885, he became a regional organizer for the National Party of Honore Mercier. The year after, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly as the Liberal representative for the district of Chambly. He was re-elected in 1890 and was defeated in 1892. He was again elected in 1897. He did not represent himself in 1900. He died in Saint-Hubert.
