Amelia was the daughter of Gustav Nepper and Matilda Eschmann. She never married. Census records enumerated her occupation as being a seamstress. Amelia lived with her mother Matilda until her death and after that she lived for many years with her brothers Harry and Samuel. Amelia died of hypostatic pneumonia at the home of her niece and nephew Julia and Gustave F. Nepper, 26 Brentwood Place. She was 83.
