Lawrence 'Bud' Griffith was born Jan. 3, 1929, in Clarksburg, a son of Alvy and Louise Griffith. He married Norma Jean Westfall.
Surviving are four daughters, Terry (Michael) Moore; Nancy (Dr. Bruce) Hansbrough, Connie Griffith and Rose Griffith; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Nixon a sister-in-law, Glenneth Griffith; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years and his brother, William Griffith.
