Major League Baseball Player. He was a right-handed starting pitcher making his debut with the Boston Red Sox on July 28, 1908. He spent his whole Major League career with the Boston Red Sox 1908 to 1910, compiling 24 wins, 22 loss, 148 strikeouts and a 2.28 earned run average. In 1911, he ended his professional career with the Pacific Coast League Sacramento Solons, where he pitched a nine inning no-hitter in a losing a 2–0 game. He died at age 36 a victim of the Spanish flu.
