Patrick F. Hamilton, 72, of 1101 W. 4th St., Owensboro, died Saturday, July 23, 1994, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, was retired from Murphy-Miller Inc., was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and Upholsterers International Union Local #230, and was a Navy veteran of WW II. Survivors Include his wife of 47 years, Mary Rita Hamilton; 2 sons, Larry & Tony Hamilton, both of Owensboro; 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (Mary) Weaver and Mrs. Joseph (Jennifer) Galloway, both of Owensboro; 16 grandchildren, Scott Weaver of Nashville, David Weaver of Wilmore, Suzee Smith of Louisville, Mark Weaver of Lexington, and Jason Weaver, Dana Zambrano, Matthew Hamilton, Casey Hamilton, Jennifer "Itsy" Wright, Amy Priar, Kerry Galloway, Kitty Galloway, Tom Galloway, Brandie Stewart, Nichole Stewart and Eric Stewart, all of Owensboro; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Cathedral. Burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. today and from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. today. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Daniel Pitino Shelter, 501 Walnut St., Owensboro, KY 42301. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
