Alice Radostitz


A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Eugene for Alice P. "Pat" Radostitz of Eugene, who died Oct. 29 of age-related causes. She was 81. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.


She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Chicago to William and Alice McNamara Walsh. She married James Radostitz on Nov. 21, 1953, in Fort Sill, Okla. He died Oct. 6, 1993.


She worked with AARP tax assistance.


Survivors include two daughters, Rita Radostitz and Marirose Ford, both of Eugene; a son, Vince of Portland; a brother, Robert Walsh of Palos Park, Ill.; a sister, Dorothy Goushas of Lemont, Ill.; and seven grandchildren. A son, Robert Radostitz, died previously.


Private burial will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to St. Paul Catholic Church or the UO's Oregon Young Scholars Program.
