Brady Hunter Caipa, 17, of Las Vegas, went to be with the Lord Oct. 30, 2011. He was born May 13, 1994, in Las Vegas, and was a student at Bishop Gorman High School, where he had his sights set on graduation in Spring 2012. An avid soccer player since he was three-years-old, Brady could frequently be found at the indoor soccer park with friends. Brady's circle of friends was vast, and the bond with his Cornerstone Christian Academy friends was especially unique. He recently enjoyed the Gorman Homecoming dance and festivities surrounded by great friends. Affectionately known by his family as "Brady Bo," he enjoyed regular trips to Park City, Utah, where he loved to snowboard, and to Southern California to visit his older siblings. Thanksgiving and Christmas were Brady's favorite holidays because they are rich in family traditions......including little things that Brady insisted upon always occurring. He will be dearly missed by his loving parents, Carlos and Kimberly Caipa; sister, Brytani; brothers, Zachary, Nicolas and Royce; maternal grandparents, Jack and Samm Owens; paternal grandparents, Francisco and Martha Caipa; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and of course, Sadie, Brady's sweet chocolate Labrador puppy. Brady's dark curly hair, infectious smile and kind heart were iconic and will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are encouraged to embrace the Caipa family and help celebrate Brady's life. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Our Lady of Lourdes Alumni Chapel, at Bishop Gorman High School, 5959 S. Hualapai Way, Las Vegas. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.
