Charlie was born November 11, 1939, in Floresville, the son of James Wesley McInvale and Inez Barber McInvale. Charlie married Georgia Nan Prater on March 15, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas. Charlie was retired from the SAPD and served in the Air Force Reserves.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Georgia; children, Sherry, Nanette, and Charlie W.; sister, Thelma; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Vinyard Funeral Home, Floresville. Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Vinyard Funeral Home, Floresville, followed by interment at Marcelina Cemetery, Wilson County, Texas.
