PELION — Services for Macel Cooke, 91, will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Interment will be held in Robbinsville, N.C., in Metz Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooke widow of Benjamin Franklin Cooke, died Monday, February 28, 2005. Born in Haywood County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Lewis H. and Grace Webb Arrowood.
She is survived by her son, Ed Queen (C.J.) of Easley; grandchildren, Liz Grant (Carl) of Pelion, Andrea Queen of TN, David Queen (Gail) of Lexington; and six great-grandsons.
