Gayle Ann (Callahan) Pokorny, 70, born April 11, 1941. Went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Valgene Pokorny. Mother of Jan (Chris) Pokorny, Roy (Sandra) Pokorny, Dawn Scheffert, Daniel (Marsha) Pokorny, Robb (Fiance' Linda) Pokorny. Many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Author of "Caregivers Have Wings." Gayle earned her wings on earth and has flown home into the arms of Jesus. Preceeded in death by her Mother and Father, Ruby and Daniel J. Callahan.
