---Susan B. Ratliff, daughter of Jordan and Nancy Ratliff, was born Feb. 11, 1855 and died Friday at the age of 93 years, nine months and 29 days, at the home of her youngest son.
---She was united in marriage to Simeon H. Standley April 6, 1874. To this union seven children were born, three of whom preceded her in death.
---On April 12, 1905 she was united in marriage to John Williams.
---She is survived by four children, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, five step children and many friends.

She was a resident of Elmer until her husband's death several years ago, when she moved to Goldsberry and vicinity, where she lived with her children, She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church many years.
