Sandra Lynn Ward Davidson, a teacher at Grace United Methodist Church, director of the Mary Lois Fields Learning Center at Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church, and a charter member of Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church, died March 19, 2007. She was 56.
Survivors include her husband, Billy; a daughter, Katie Davidson of Corpus Christi; a son, Rob Davidson of Austin; and her mother, Helen Ward.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. March 23 at Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church.

Sandra Lynn Ward died March 19, 2007.
She was born in Beaumont Texas, January 8, 1951. Sandy graduated from Tuloso Midway High School in 1969, then attended college at South West Texas University in San Marcos, but graduated from Texas A & I Kingsville in 1973. She taught in the public school district for one year. She was also a teacher at Grace United Methodist Church for 15 years. Sandy then move to San Antonio Texas and went into Real Estate. When she returned to Corpus Christi she accepted the position as director of Mary Lois Fields Learning Center at the Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church. Sandy loved the church and all the people in it. She was a charter member of JWPC. She had served as moderator of the women, an elder, and was a Stephen Minister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. A. Arnott Ward, her grandparents Albert and Ila Post Ward, her maternal grandparents, Captain Robert and Mary Louise Jackson.
She married Billy Davidson, September 7, 1974. She is survived by him, her son Rob Davidson of Austin, Texas, and daughter Katie Davidson of Corpus Christi, Texas; her mother, Helen Ward; her brother-in-law Glenn Davidson (Jakelynn) of Mission, Texas; her sister-in-law, Lee Pearce of Austin, Texas; her uncles and aunts, Patricia Gilbert (Pat) of Beaumont, Texas; Sally Purcell of Spring, Texas; Ted M. Jackson (Maria) of Baltimore, Maryland; Robert W. Jackson (Theta) of Conroe, Texas, Dr. Henry W. Jackson (Jean) of La Verne, California, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mary Lois Fields Learning Center (Jackson Woods Church) in memory of Sandy Davidson.
A Memorial Service will be held for Sandy on March 23, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church located at 10500 Stonewall Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas.
