JOHN H. PETERS 10/18/1927 - 11/03/2011

John passed away on November 3rd, 2011 after a lengthy illness at age 84.

In his early years John was a member of the Harmony Kings, a quartet; which went on to win first place in the Minneapolis Aquatennial and the Chicagoland Music Festival numerous times. John was a founding member of the Minneapolis Choralaires where he met Joyce; his future wife. The Minneapolis Choralaires were the first American Choir to be invited to compete in the World Music Festival in Wales.

John was a native Minneapolis, Minnesota resident where he worked in the mortgage loan industry with the largest Savings & Loan in the upper Midwest.

He moved to Texas in 1977 with his family, and was a 32 year resident of El Paso.
