WILLIAM WALKER DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER TODAY
William Henry Walker, 88, died at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert Parr, route 4 Tipton.
Born Jan.14,1862 in Hamilton, Ohio he was the son of Franklin and Rebecca Walker.
He was married to Minnie M. Lee, she died in November 1946.
Mr. Walker was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a farmer all of his life.
Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Claude Goodwin, Curtisville; Mrs. Hobart Knotts, Mountpelier; Mrs. Parr at whose home he died, a son Frank Walker of Elwood and a brother Douglas Walker of northwest of Elwood, there are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Copher & Fesler Funeral Home where friends may call this evening, funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, burial will be made in the Elwood City Cemetery.
