Eleanor Goodnough Deuell

Death: Jun. 18, 1967

War correspondent. She was known as Peggy Hull, who went with the U.S. forces pursuing revolutionary Pancho Villa into Mexico in 1916, then to Europe as World War I exploded. She was the first woman authorized to cover a war zone.  (bio by: Laurie)
